Enjoy a totally first-class Key West offshore fishing experience, or just take a cruise, aboard our fully air-conditioned, 53-foot Davis sportfishing yacht, equipped with the latest electronics, and twin 435 horsepower 3208 Silver Anniversary Edition Caterpillar engines.
The Fatal Attraction has an extremely large fishing cockpit area that more than accommodates our 6-customer maximum group, with three fighting chairs to make your fishing adventure as comfortable as you want it to be. Our flybridge will also comfortably seat our maximum group as well, and women will especially like the clean, very large cabin area and head.
To ensure your peace of mind, our safety equipment exceeds USCG requirements, and includes an inflatable 8-man survival raft.
You will troll the warm Atlantic waters off Key West aboard our sturdy and stable wooden hull, for some of the best and most exciting game fishing in the world. Real boaters and fishermen know that nothing rides as smoothly as a wooden boat.
We specialize in offshore fishing for sailfish, marlin, dolphin, (mahi-mahi/dorado) wahoo, tuna, kingfish, shark, and other local species. However, we can also arrange inshore, flats or back-country fishing charters as well. Additionally, we will be more than happy to provide you with information about and/or referrals to local hotels, motels and inns.
The captain and crew of the Fatal Attraction aim to be the most customer-friendly charter boat in the area, and our large number of satisfied customers would seem to indicate that we accomplish that goal. As part of that philosophy, we are fully equipped with top of the line Penn and Shimano reels, and all tackle meets the International Game Fish Association standards. Because of that, we are always prepared for tournaments, or to just catch you a local Key West or world record- breaking fish.
We hope that you'll give us the chance to do that. You won't regret that you did.
The Fatal Attraction boated the only sailfish caught in the 2nd Annual ASCAP/ole Songwriters Fishing Tournament held during the 12th Annual Key West Songwriters Festival on May 4, 2007. That earned our angler top prize, a vacation package, and earned us some air time on the TV show "Country Music Across America" on the Great American Country channel.
In 2006, we landed the largest dolphin caught in the Shell Key West Challenge, held in May. It weighed in at 44 pounds. The above photo shows the happy fisherman and his prize catch.
We also landed the second largest dolphin caught in the 2006 Drambuie Key West Marlin Tournament -- 45.5 pounds. That earned our clients a nice cash prize. The smiling teammates showing off that catch below look as if they were pretty happy that they chose the Fatal Attraction.
